The Bronze Anvil Awards, sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), recognize superior performance in the design and execution of outstanding public relations tactics — the individual items or components that contribute to the success of an overall program or campaign. Fifty-four Bronze Anvils were awarded from nearly 900 individual public relations tactics entered in this year’s competition.
FWV received one of the coveted Bronze Anvil awards for its “Riders: A Media Tea Party for Dolls of All Sizes” press event in the Media Relations – Consumer Products (Non-Packaged Goods) category. In support of the Riders by the Makers of Lee apparel brand, FWV created a distinctive and memorable event with a “One Size Fits Dolls” theme, reinforcing brand messaging that Riders has clothes to fit “dolls” of all shapes and sizes. The event exceeded expectations resulting in more media coverage than garnered by any other single media push in brand history.
The PRSA, headquartered in New York City, is the world’s largest organization for public relations professionals with nearly 32,000 professional and student members. PRSA is organized into 109 Chapters and 10 Districts nationwide, and 19 Professional Interest Sections and Affinity Groups, which represent business and industry, counseling firms, independent practitioners, military, government, associations, hospitals, schools, professional services firms and nonprofit organizations.
