Agency Also Moves New York City Office to Madison Avenue
RALEIGH, N.C. (February 25, 2009) - French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation's largest independent public relations, public affairs and brand communications agencies, today announced the opening of a larger office in the Tampa market due to the addition of several new clients based in the area. The agency has also moved its New York office to Madison Avenue.
FWV's Tampa office will officially open early next month in a newly renovated historic building on the famous 7th Avenue in Ybor City. The larger office is an expansion of its Florida operations, as the agency has picked up a number of significant clients in the area including the XFC (Xtreme Fighting Championships), Help for Homeowners and Security Point Media. The office will also be supporting clients that are managed out of FWV's Raleigh headquarters including Nehst Studios and its various film projects, and Out The Box Records (including famed rocker Dave Mason). Jack Glasure has been named executive vice president/principal and will have management oversight for the Tampa office.
"When we absorbed Jack's company, The Glasure Group, two years ago we kept a small service office in the market," said FWV Chairman & CEO Rick French. "However, with the addition of several new clients, we see a need in the market for a national agency that can assume a leadership position. Tampa, like Raleigh, is one of the few PR markets nationally that has continued to grow."
French also noted that, upon the expiration of its lease, FWV moved its New York office from The Empire State Building to 185 Madison Avenue.
"We enjoyed being in a well-known building such as The Empire State Building," said French. "But, we're really excited about having another iconic address and one that is more closely associated with the advertising and public relations industry."
