French/West/Vaughan Announces Two New Hires

RALEIGH, N.C. (February 26, 2008)  - French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation's largest independent public relations, public affairs and brand communications agencies, today announced two new hires. Dana Walker joins FWV as controller, overseeing the accounting processes of the agency, while Katie Bishop joins FWV as account coordinator.

 

In his role as controller, Dana Walker will oversee the accounting and finance functions of both FWV and the agency's creative arm, FWV Distilled. Walker comes to the agency after serving seven years as controller at Adstreet Advertising/The King Partnership. Prior to that, he held the same position for MarketSmart Advertising. Walker also served as business manager for radio stations WRDU and WTRG in Raleigh. He holds an accounting degree from NC State University.

 

Katie Bishop joins FWV as account coordinator, supporting agency accounts including Wrangler, Minute Maid Enhanced Juices and Juice Drinks, TrustAtlantic Bank and Poyner & Spruill LLP. Bishop first joined the agency as an intern in the fall of 2007. She recently graduated from NC State University where she received a B.A. in communication with a public and interpersonal concentration.
