RALEIGH, N.C. (March 5, 2007) - French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation's largest independent public relations, public affairs and brand communications agencies, has won six local awards and now advances to the regional and national round of judging for creative work on behalf of two of its advertising clients.
At the recent Triangle Ad Club ADDY® Awards competition, FWV took home two gold awards and four silver awards. Five out of the six awards were achieved for work on behalf of GENERALSPORTS VENUE, which recently reintroduced its iconic AstroTurf brand to the sports market. FWV re-launched the AstroTurf brand with a new logo, advertising, brochures and Web site. FWV also secured a silver award for work on behalf of Lee Air Conditioners, Inc.
FWV's winning entries now move to the regional and national ADDY Awards competition by virtue of taking top honors in their category. That competition will be judged in June.
The ADDY Awards is the largest creative competition in the country with over 50,000 local entries competing in almost 200 cities.
