FWV Announces Three New Hires

FRENCH/WEST/VAUGHAN ANNOUNCES THREE NEW HIRES

 

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 19, 2007) - French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation's largest independent public relations, public affairs and emerging media agencies, today announced a number of new hires.

 

Jessica Coscia joins FWV as a senior account executive and will support accounts including Cricket Communications, Inc., bioMérieux and Stanley Dentistry. Coscia comes to FWV from the North Carolina Health and Wellness Trust Fund, where she served as communications and external affairs officer. An expert in Latino marketing, Coscia is a former on-air talent, communications and community affairs director for Univision (WUVC-40) in Raleigh, and also hosted NBC-17s ‘Viva Carolina' television show. In addition, she served as US Congressman Bob Etheridge's press aide and head of immigration affairs for several years. Coscia holds a degree in mass communications/journalism with a minor in Spanish/Latin American studies from Peace College.

 

Joining FWV as marketing coordinator, Shannon Laird will play a key role in new business research and development, and will also support the agency's marketing services group with design, production and social/emerging media marketing projects. Laird will also support agency accounts that include Wrangler and Justin Boots. She previously worked for Cary Academy helping write its monthly newsletter and planning special events, and formerly taught at the Monart Drawing School in Charlotte. Laird is a graduate of Meredith College with a degree in English and a minor in professional writing and presentation media.

 

Chelsea Cullen joins FWV as account coordinator and will support agency accounts including Canada Post Borderfree, Friends of Dorothea Dix Park, Kimley Horn and Albemarle Mental Health Center. Cullen began an internship with FWV in February, and recently graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a major in English and a minor in journalism.
