Digital Marketing Strategist / Account Manager
This is a full-time opportunity for someone with a holistic view of online and digital marketing – from strategy to execution. The Digital Marketing Strategist / Account Manager will play a key role servicing select digital accounts by defining strategies for, then executing and reporting the success of tactics like:
- Search engine marketing and PPC
- Email marketing
- Conversion path optimization
- Social media engagement and measurement
- Blogging and content marketing
Candidates should have a solid understanding of how the above tactics fit into the overall marketing mix, be well-versed in some or all of these, and have an entrepreneurial approach to learning and improvement in areas of weakness. In short, you don’t have to be an expert in all of them, but you should be able to figure out what it takes to become one over time.
In addition to helping clients improve their success in these areas, you will be a part of new business pitches, and be regarded as an internal subject matter expert, contributing your expertise and training other staff in best practices for integrating digital into traditional PR and communications initiatives.
The right candidate will be a great self-manager, problem-solver, team-player, continuous-learner and probably has 2-4 years of experience in the online space for an agency, as a freelancer/consultant, or as an in-house marketer. The salary range is $35 – 45k, dependent on experience.
