French West Vaughan is seeking a digital media analyst to join our growing digital media team. This is an opportunity to join a team that is highly motivated on driving results using digital media for a diverse client roster. This person will work closely with digital media buying and planning team members on campaigns that include paid search and paid social media. In addition to campaign management, the digital media analyst will oversee conversion tracking, report on KPIs and surface optimization opportunities. This person must be analytical and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary duties to include but are not limited to:

  • Implementation and management of paid search (Google/Bing) and paid social (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) campaigns
  • Assist digital media strategist in digital media planning and buying
  • Identify trends and optimization opportunities in campaigns
  • Report on campaign KPIs
  • Manage campaign budgets
  • Implement and manage conversion tracking
  • Leverage web analytics tools in campaign reporting

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of digital marketing experience

Our high-energy, full service agency is looking for a Media Director to drive and oversee our agency media strategy.  Responsibilities include but not limited to: rolling out client launch plans, developing ongoing media strategies to achieve given client goals and objectives that fall within budget; as well as effectively managing internal and external teams.   • Participate in new business proposals and presentations from a strategic media recommendation standpoint.
  • Oversee media team, which includes daily management, mentoring, hiring and training of staff members. 

ENGAGEMENT MANAGEMENT

  • Engage with clients to identify key strategic challenges and needs across all channels/disciplines; evaluate scope of strategic engagement
  • Work cross-functionally with other agency strategist, client partners, discipline leaders, and other internal partners
  • Provide recognized thought leadership and unique POV's  on a broad range of media topics that continue to drive our clients business forward.
  • Create dynamic and measurable presentations that demonstrate smart thinking and strategic insight

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Build and manage working relationships with client decision-makers to service their media strategies that reach their business objectives
  • Create RFP responses and proposals, and be apart of the new business team at FWV
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant news, best practices, and trends within the marketing, media, and technology industry and share this knowledge with the agency
  • Partner with analytics team members to define success metrics and evaluate business impact of media strategies and projects over time

  • Build strategy team media expertise by mentoring junior team members and offering training in relevant methodologies, techniques and frameworks

Required Skills

  • 8-12+ years internet, marketing, and/or management consulting (consulting, agency or client-side) experience with at least 6+ years focused exclusively on media
  • Advanced working knowledge of Google, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn advertising platforms and Google Analytics
  • Deep understanding of the current advertising/media landscape
  • Experience with programmatic buying as well as traditional buying
  • Expertise setting appropriate KPIs for media beyond reach/impressions/CPM
  • Experience with execution of media planning across social, digital and traditional
  • Experience working with targeting and measurement partners including Nielsen among others
  • Experience managing relationships and inquiries with media representatives
  • Experienced in measuring the success of media campaigns beyond simple media metrics to include lifts in awareness, consideration, salience, and ROAS.
  • Experienced in recommending ad spend based on audience size and campaign objectives.
