Senior Account Executive

French | West | Vaughan seeks a public relations senior account executive for its Raleigh office. The right candidate will manage and lead integrated consumer marketing programs on behalf of exciting global brands; maintain and grow relationships with national, regional and local media; lead day-to-day client communications; manage creative and digital projects; and have an understanding of brand marketing using social media. Candidates should have three to five years of public relations experience, with preference shown to candidates who have led or worked on apparel/fashion focused public relations accounts at an agency. Writing skills and client facing abilities should be stellar.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead key accounts to deliver exceptional results and client service daily
  • Contribute to the development and execution of public relations, strategy and integrated marketing plans
  • Develop press material including press releases and pitches
  • Compile and maintain media lists, monitor and report on media coverage
  • Develop and manage schedules for multiple clients and deliverables
  • Plan, attend and execute media and consumer events
  • Digital and social project management


Specific Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in public relations, journalism, marketing or related field
  • Three to five years of public relations experience (agency experience is strongly preferred, but not required)
  • Experience leading a B2C account, especially one that falls in the apparel or fashion sector
  • Superb writing, editing and storytelling skills
  • An expert at AP Style
  • Experience with direct client relations/communications

Brand Planner

FWV seeks a Brand Planner to join its team and act as the voice of the consumer in the creative process and ensure marketing efforts reach target consumers in the right way, with the right message. This includes utilizing knowledge of consumer research and trends to support strategy and planning.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the voice of the customer by bringing data into creative strategy and activation development.
  • Understands how to use data and analysis to drive decisions for the client’s business. Comfortable analyzing quantitative research and marketing analytics.
  • Develop compelling insights around target, category, brand, culture, etc.
  • Harness intuition and data to develop sound strategies and inspiring briefs.
  • Conduct brand discovery, audits and develop strategic positioning
  • Develop audience personas
  • Support in the development and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research initiatives.
  • Understand communications planning and the role distinct channels can play in bringing a campaign to life across multiple stages of a customer journey.
  • Work with partners across disciplines/agencies to develop integrated/cross-channel campaigns. (i.e., Creative, Account Management, Analytics, etc.).
  • Provide inspiration and ongoing support during the creative development process.
  • Maintain current pulse on the digital platforms, tools, and trends that are reshaping media and advertising every day.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+years of Account Planning, Brand Strategy or Data Analytics experience in an agency setting.
  • Organized and detail-oriented – (must demonstrate attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks/projects).
  • Positive professional team player who takes ownership of tasks and who seeks and accepts other responsibilities.
